فلوریڈا: نجی کمپنیوں کی جانب سے خلا تک یا اس کے کنارے تک جانے کی دوڑ جاری ہے۔ اسی تناظر میں اب ایک اور کمپنی نے ایک غبارے نما کیپسول بنایا ہے جس کی بدولت عام افراد کو کچھ دیر کے لئے خلا کی سر کرائی جاسکے گی۔

اس خوبصورت غبارے کو نظامِ شمسی کے ایک سیارے کے تحت اسپیس شپ نیپچون کے نام دیا گیا ہے۔ اسے امریکی کمپنی ’اسپیس شپ پرسپیکٹوو‘ اوربرطانوی کمپنی اسٹوڈیو پریسٹ مان گڈ نے ڈیزائن کیا ہے۔ یہ کسی بہت بڑے روایتی گرم غبارے جیسا ہے لیکن اس میں ہیلیم گیس بھری گئی ہے جو ہائیڈروجن کے بعد کائنات کی دوسری سب سے ہلکی گیس ہے۔ 

بتاتے چلیں کہ ہیلیم سے بھرے غبارے ماضی میں بھی تحقیق کی غرض سے خلاء کی نچلی حدود تک بھیجے جاتے رہے ہیں۔ مسافر بردار خلائی غبارہ بھی اسی نوعیت کا ہے لیکن جسامت میں یہ تحقیق کی غرض سے استعمال ہونے والے ہیلیم بھرے غباروں سے بہت زیادہ بڑا ہے۔
غبارے کے نیچے ایک لمبی اور مضبوط تار ہے جس کے ساتھ مسافر بردار کیپسول بندھا ہے جس میں آٹھ مسافروں اور ایک پائلٹ کے بیٹھنے کی گنجائش ہے۔ کیپسول کے اندر مسافروں کی حفاظت اور زمین جیسا ماحول پیدا کرنے کےلیے تقریباً اسی دباؤ پر ہوا بھری گئی ہے کہ جتنا زمینی سطح پر ہوا کا دباؤ ہوتا ہے۔

ہیلیم بھرا دیوقامت غبارہ اپنے ساتھ بندھے ہوئے مسافر بردار کیپسول کو لے کر بلند ہوتا جائے گا، یہاں تک کہ اس مقام پر پہنچ جائے گا جہاں زمینی کرہ ہوائی کی بالائی حدود ختم اور خلاء کی نچلی حدود شروع ہوتی ہیں۔ یہ تقریباً ایک لاکھ فٹ کی بلندی بنتی ہے۔

جدید ٹیکنالوجی سے آراستہ اس گولے میں بیٹھ کر خلائی سیر کے خواہش مند مسافروں کی پہلی پرواز کی بکنگ شروع ہوچکی ہے اور اس کا ٹکٹ سوالاکھ ڈالر (تقریباً دو کروڑ پاکستانی روپے) کا ہے۔ لیکن اس کا ایک حساب کتاب یوں ہے کہ اولین فلائٹس مہنگی ہیں اور اس کے بعد کی پروازوں کے ٹکٹ کم قیمت میں دستیاب ہوں گے۔

منصوبے کے تحت پہلی آزمائشی پرواز 18 جون کو فلوریڈا کے ٹیٹس ویلی خلائی اڈے سے روانہ ہوئی۔ اس میں کوئی مسافر نہیں تھا لیکن چھ گھنٹے اور 39 منٹ کی اس آزمائشی پرواز میں کرہِ ارض کی خوبصورت تصاویر لی گئیں۔

اسپیس پرسپیکٹوو کے سی ای او جین پوئنٹر نے کہا کہ ہم خلا تک رسائی کے تصور کو تبدیل کرنا چاہتے ہیں ۔ اس میں خلائی سیاحت اور خلائی تحقیق، دونوں ہی مقاصد شامل ہیں۔ پہلی فلائٹ اگرچہ فلوریڈا سے روانہ ہوگی تاہم یہ کمپنی دنیا بھر اپنے خلائی اڈے قائم کرنے کی خواہاں ہے۔

خلائی غبارے کی بدولت سیاحوں کو 99 فیصد فضا سے اوپر لے جایا جائے گا جہاں خلائی حدود شروع ہوتی ہے جو ایک لاکھ فٹ بلند علاقہ بھی ہے۔ پورا سفر چھ گھنٹے کا ہے لیکن مسافر دو گھںٹے خلا میں گزار کر کیبن کی کھڑکیوں سے 360 درجے خوبصورت نظارہ کرسکیں گے۔

نیبچون غبارے کا کل رقبہ فٹبال کے ایک میدان کے برابر ہے لیکن جس کیپسول میں لوگ بیٹھیں گے اس کا قطر صرف 5 میٹر ہے۔ واپسی پر یہ کیپسول سمندر میں اترے گا جہاں سے مسافروں کو کشتی کے ذریعے ساحل تک پہنچایا جائے گا۔

Florida: Private companies continue to race to or from space. In this context, another company has now developed a balloon capsule that will allow ordinary people to head into space for a while.

This beautiful balloon is named after a planet in the solar system called the spaceship Neptune. It was designed by the American company Spaceship Perspectives and the British company Studio Priest Man Good. It's like a very large conventional hot balloon, but it is filled with helium gas, which is the second lightest gas in the universe after hydrogen.

Helium-filled balloons have been sent to the lower reaches of space in the past for research purposes. The passenger space balloon is similar in size, but much larger in size than the helium-filled balloons used for research.
Beneath the balloon is a long, strong wire with a passenger capsule tied that can seat eight passengers and one pilot. The air inside the capsule is filled at almost the same pressure as the air pressure at the ground level to protect the passengers and create an earth-like atmosphere.

The giant balloon filled with helium will rise with the passenger capsule attached to it, until it reaches the point where the upper boundary of the Earth's atmosphere ends and the lower boundary of space begins. It is about 100,000 feet high.

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the first flight has been booked for the passengers who want to travel in space and its ticket is worth سوال 200,000 (approximately PKR 20 million). But one calculation is that the first flights are expensive and tickets for subsequent flights will be available at a lower price.

The first test flight under the plan departed June 18 from Tets Valley Space Base in Florida. There were no passengers on board, but the six-hour, 39-minute test flight took beautiful pictures of the planet.

"We want to change the concept of access to space," said Jane Pointer, CEO of Space Perspectives. This includes both space tourism and space research. Although the first flight will depart from Florida, the company wants to establish its own space bases around the world.

Thanks to the space balloon, tourists will be carried 99 percent above the air, where the space boundary begins, which is also an area of ​​one hundred thousand feet high. The entire journey takes six hours, but passengers will be able to spend two hours in space and get a 360-degree beautiful view from the cabin windows.

The total area of ​​the Nebuchun balloon is about the size of a football field, but the capsule in which people will sit is only 5 meters in diameter. On return, the capsule will land at sea, from where passengers will be transported to the shore by boat.
