Asif Rasheed Butt chairman of IMRAN LOVERS organised a grand iftar dinner at local restaurant in Manchester.
Special guests Javed Iqbal (Mayor of Oldham) ; Mohammad Zaman (Mayor of Rochdale); Cllr Abid Chohan (Deputy lord Mayor Manchester) and large number of ladies and gents were also invited.
It’s been a pleasant surprise that no political speech took place and we noticed some people from other parties were also present.
But it was unfortunate that place was not large enough to accommodate number of people attended.
But it was good initiative from Asif Butt and his team to organise an event purely for Iftar and leaving political agendas aside.
