Aalo (Potatoes) boiled 4 medium

Namak (Salt) ¼ tsp or to taste

Chaat masala ½ tsp

Zarda ka rang (Orange food color) 1 pinch

Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped

Cooking oil 2-3 tbs

Hari mirch (Green chilli) paste 2 tbs

Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tbs

Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste

Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste

Garam masala powder ½ tsp

Chaat masala 1 tsp

Khatai powder ½ tsp

Black salt ½ tsp

Tamatar (Tomatoes) chopped 2 medium

Water 2-3 tbs

Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 2-3 tbs

Safed chanay (Chickpeas) boiled with salt 2 Cups (add with its water approx. ¼ Cup)

Chickpea water or Plain water 1 Cup or as required
Spicy Green Chutney:
Hari mirch (Green chillies) 3-4

Podina (Mint leaves) 1 Cup

Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) 1 & ½ Cup

Namak (Salt) ¼ tsp or to taste

Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed ½ tsp

Lehsan (Garlic) cloves 5-6

Lemon juice 4-5 tbs

Water ¼ Cup or as required
Pyaz (Onion) chopped

Tamatar (Tomato) chopped & deseeded

Hari mirch (Green chilli) chopped

Spicy green chutney

Tamarind sauce

Sev nimco


Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped

Chaat masala
In a bowl,add potatoes & mashed with the help of masher.

Add salt,chaat masala,orange food color & mix well.

Heat large griddle,place mash potatoes on one side of griddle and sprinkle fresh coriander on it.

Add cooking oil,green chilli paste,mix well & cook for a minute.

Add cumin powder,red chilli powder,salt,garam masala powder,chaat masala,khatai powder,black salt & mix well.

Add tomatoes & mix well.

Add water,mix well & cook for a minute.

Add fresh coriander & mix well.

Gradually add mashed potatoes & mix well.

Add boiled chickpeas along with its remaining water and mix until well combined.

Gradually add chickpea water or plain water,mix well and cook until desired thickness.
