Pakistan’s legendary former pacer and current bowling coach Waqar Younis is expected to leave for Australia immediately because of his wife’s surgery. 

The 49-year-old will depart from Zimbabwe today while his wife’s surgery will be conducted after the end of Ramadan. 

The bowling coach has to depart early since Australia requires individuals to quarantine for 14 days on arrival.

Waqar Younis will no longer be available for Pakistan’s tour of Zimbabwe. He is expected to reprise his role once he is back in Pakistan.
