Full Of Celebration For Manchester, Specially For British Pakistani Community
It been a day full of celebration for Manchester, specially for British Pakistani community, on a personal level as well as for all the proud British Pakistanis a massive achievement to become a first ever British Pakistani heritage Muslim lady Yasmin Dar a Lord Mayor of Manchester. I am sure it is a happy and proud moment for all Mancunian and BAEM community, and of course a joyous moment for British Pakistanis in UK particularly in Manchester.
There is no shortage of well wishers for Yasmin Dar and Majid Dar.
Now to continue with the celebration, a person who needs no introduction, always vocal for the Kashmir cause from his organisation JKSDMI a truly International well know individual who dedicated his life for Kashmir cause to the British and European Parliaments, as much so that even government in Pakistan took notice of his efforts, hence Raja Najabat Hussain Founder Chairman Jammu Kashmir Self Determination Movement International (JKSDMI) was awarded Sitara I Pakistan (The civil decoration of Pakistan), this award was presented by His Exelency Moazzam Ahmad Khan High Commissioner for Pakistan in UK, he traveled exclusively all the way from London to present this in person.
Also attended among other dignitaries Parliamentarians, Mayors, Councillors and Community Leaders from all walks of life.
Guests were received and welcomed by Councillor Naila Shareef Chairperson JKSDMI North of England, Amjid Hussain Mughal Vice Chairman JKSDMIUK and rest of the team of JKSDMI.
And as always excellent sound system provided by singer Ali Imran and he also entertained the audience with the songs with his mesmerised voice.
As I mentioned at the beginning of my report that yesterday was a day of celebrations for Manchester, I am sure most of you know by now that Manchester City football celebrates third consecutive Premier League title.
